It's essential to know your computer's specifications because they can affect its performance and determine what types of software and applications it can run. Knowing your computer's specifications can also help you troubleshoot any issues that arise and make informed
decisions about upgrading your hardware or purchasing a new software. In the attachment above,
you can see that it is running Windows 11. It has thirty-two gigabits of random-access memory (RAM), and a processor or central processing unit (CPU) speed is three point nine five gigahertz.
This information is vital to understand because each item plays a different role in the computer. The OS is how the user interfaces with the hardware, and Different software and applications

work differently with other OS. Knowing Windows will let you pick the correct version to get. Having enough RAM is vital for the smooth operation of your computer. RAM is a type of storage that your computer uses to hold data currently being used or processed or just processed to allow data to get to the processor quickly. The processor's speed equates to how fast the CPU can process a task. However, there are other things to look for than speed. The number of cores will impact the speed just as much. This becomes important with high CPU-demanding software like Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.
The recommendations I would give to my supervisor for updating the software at the company would be to identify the current version of the software being used in the office and the
new version that will be installed. Determine the compatibility of the latest software with the office computers and any other software or systems that are used. Create a schedule for the upgrade that minimizes disruption to the office's productivity and ensures that any necessary backups and data transfers are completed. Test the new software on a small group of computers to identify and address any issues before rolling it out to the entire office. Communicate the upgrade plan to all users and provide them with any necessary instructions or support. To train the users in the office in the new software, you could provide them with written or video tutorials, which could be provided in-house or through an online training program. Hold group training sessions or workshops and dedicate an IT professional to provide one-on-one time with users. It's also a good idea to encourage the users to ask questions and provide feedback to ensure
that they feel comfortable using the new software.
