Association:
A contract inked on March 24, 2014, gave Communications Alliance control over the
Internet Industry Association's (IIA) industry codes and main tasks. The action is in response to the
Board of the IIA's decision to pursue a merger with Communications Alliance and eventually stop
operating as a distinct group.
Purpose:
By offering tools, accreditation, best practice recommendations, industry representation,
and aiding in the protection of privacy and security online, it attempts to increase Internet confidence
for Australian businesses and consumers.
Benefit:
The 5G-based sim-card card services that our company offers have only been in operation
for five years. We still require direction from an IT organization that can access Australia's whole
internet network. By becoming a member of the IAA, our business will receive quality assurance and
gain reputation as an internet service provider.
