The Joint Commission as we know is an accreditation that is vital for a health care organization
to obtain this is an accreditation proves that the health care organization is being compliance to
preform standards that allows for safe and quality care for patients. The Joint Commission offers several tools for health care organizations to use these are Failure Mode, analysis, and performance improvements. They have a list of resources for organizations to use once and organization becomes accredited for quality and safe improvement. These tools can help with continuous quality improvement and by setting quality standards for a hospital and this also allows for organizations to evaluate performance for continuous improvement.
