Hello everyone, the species I have chosen is Procyon lotor better recognized as a raccoon. After researching my source EBSOhost, I found the source to be credible based off of the information given in the Source Evaluation sheet and the determining credibility link. Right away I realized there were six authors on this article. I did a quick search of them and found that they all published through a Capstone program at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. I found EBSCOhost through the APUS library and I noted right away that it was peer reviewed (Green Flag). In the article it recognizes the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the National Science Foundation’s Integrated Graduate Education, Research, and Training program (Green Flag). The final Green Flag is that the article was published via a University. There is two semi Red flags that I would like to note. The article was published in 2019, which isn't outdated entirely, but just in case it could be considered red. The second is that EBSCOhost notes at the top of their page that they don't take accountability for any accuracy or credibility, which could be considered alarming without the rest of the facts that we do know about the source. Based on what I know from the source sheet and the credibility link even have noticed some semi red flags, I would still consider this source as a green flag for peer reviewed, supported by, and that is is published by a university. -Jordan Demeny, K., Mcloon, M., Winesett, B., Fastner, J., Hammerer, E., & Pauli, J.
