Revisions
Revising your work is important because you may have new ideas or new feedback to add to it. You may also want to change some words or correct the grammar if you made any mistakes in your past edits. For me, it is usually trying to incorporate feedback from my instructor. Sometimes it’s that I used too many sentences so I am trying to remember sometimes short and straight to the point is better. For a lot of people, it may be the Grammar or spelling of something. Another thing I usually look for is my wording so that I do not use too big of words which helps with the tone of the paper. For a large-scale revision of my essay, I will try to make sure I include enough opposing viewpoints and potential objections. As for the small-scale revisions, I will try to make sure that I
set the right tone for my essay. I will try to keep in mind that my sentences should vary in length as well as style. I usually check my writing with Grammarly but even then I may miss some punctuation but I try to make sure not to. I just printed out a copy of my draft from module 5 to read it and go over it to look for anything I may want to revise.
