Growth as a Writer
Hello, everyone:
I would say that my writing has progressed in a lot of ways. I have always been pretty good with my writing skills but even I have managed to face some challenges in my writing for my courses. The main thing that I would say has improved is that I relearned how to do citations and especially my in-text citations. I also learned more about incorporating feedback and different ways to write as sometimes we tend to forget not to write in the first person and to keep it more scholarly for academic purposes not personal. I have gained more ways to integrate my evidence and not just state facts but to be more persuasive by making sure to include my opposing viewpoint. I am sure with most of us it has been a while since we have been in school or college so we may have forgotten some things no matter how simple they may seem now. We have all got accustomed to writing in our own ways that may have needed improvement or some tweaking so to speak so this class has been very helpful. I appreciate all the great feedback and ideas from our wonderful instructor and classmates. I am sure my writing will continue to grow and improve in my future courses as I apply what I have learned here and any further feedback from future instructors.
