Ethical Potential Threats Threats Mitigation 4 Mitigating threats to an Ethical Research process Some potential biases that may be encountered is emotional bias, child abuse is a very sensitive topic and can be hard to find a person who is unbiased in order to present the studies to the individuals. If the researcher is empathetic then the research could be swayed in one direction. Dissociation- Maintain a separation between the individuals and the researcher. Avoiding field research assignments- minimizing meeting the individuals being studied, and study them from afar.
