Alicia Mosley November 2023 Hardware and Operating System Dr Hilda Lawal The CPU that I would be using for the gaming build would be a six-core Ryzen core processing unit. This CPU is a speed demon that can keep up with high and low-performance games. The motherboard that is best associated with this CPU would be the Gigabyte Aorus Elite X670. It has extraordinary looks that give a designer feel for a lower price. The layout is simple and will be easy to replace with new components on the motherboard. The gaming tower will also include an SSD hard drive, where the OS will be installed on. The standard will be 256-bit encryption to keep the data safe and secure. To keep the CPU from overheating, a heat sink and fan from the Cooler Master will be purchased to provide high-power cooling with minimal noise. Next, we will discuss one of the most expensive parts of the gaming system, the graphics card. The graphics card is very important because its job is to handle the graphics of the game. The ASUS TUF Geforce RTX 40 series graph card will include 23% more airflow, more exclusive features with class-A durability for longer lasting quality gaming experience. Logitech audio speakers will provide a larger audio platform for the best overall experience. You’ll be able to customize your speaker with different variety of colors and you can also sync it with other Logitech devices. Microsoft Windows 10 is the best operating system for gaming. The OS is designed for gaming and gives a reliable performance for any game in mind. Most device printers for the PC
components will be compatible with Windows 10, the GPU and CPU settings can also be adjustable. All major games and gaming features are already compatible with Windows so that means you would not have to configure or install additional software to make the system work like you would have to if you had a Linux OS. The socket type will determine what type of CPU and motherboard you will need. The CPU sockets must match the motherboard sockets for the gaming devices to work. Gaming | ROG Graphics Cards . (n.d.).
