Danyelle Sayles A Summary of In TASC and CEC Standards Grand Canyon University SPD 501: Graduate Studies in Special Education Professor Kimber Underdown December 06, 2023
TASC/ CEC Standards The standard for TASC is that they are identified as essential, and there are tools to promote that will improve teacher effectiveness and growth. This was to ensure that the teacher could learn the process for children and how to process and transfer information. As for the CEC, these provide that special educators have preparation programs with accreditation and organization credentialing. Teachers are responsible for knowing and understanding a child's development, including how cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and linguistic development occurs and how it comes into play when a student is accessing their education (CCSSO, 2011). The teacher will seek the appropriate roles as being in leadership roles. They are taking responsibility for student learning. In this process, collaborating is essential for their education. It would be best if you established a relationship with families, colleagues, and other members of the school professionals. Promoting effectiveness can positively impact a student’s academic and behavioral well-being. The teaching must have the parents, community members, and the educator all share the same responsibility for improving student achievement. When there are expectations, the teacher in the TASC standards is expected to be responsible for helping to improve the practice in advancing the profession. As we all know, teachers are the ideal role models for their students and their community. Since they are role models, they must show professionalism and ethics in their behavior and decision-making. In their community, they must be able to collaborate with their community and the school.
Conclusion In conclusion, TASC standards are established for teachers so they can abide by the best practices for their teaching. Such self-reflection, along with self-improvement. This will allow teachers to understand how to gauge their performance in ways that improve their practices. The CEC standards are created for teachers within special education who will collaborate with learners with exceptionalities. These standards are there for new teachers for high-quality instruction, to understand the diverse learners' assessment, and to adjust the curriculum and classroom for their learning accomplishments.
