S3 storage devices support object-level application workloads. It manages "unstructured data". So, it supports many common file types like: Text, image/jpg (JPEG), image/png (Portable Network Graphics), video/mpeg (MPEG) and more! It can also store objects that are generated dynamically at run time or files that don't exist until they're requested. There is no limit on the number of objects that can be stored in an S3 bucket. Each object in S3 has a URL which can be used to download the object.
