Module Eight Question 1
a.
Who is the audience of this presentation? How do you know? b.
Why does Claudia think the audience should care? c.
What parts of the presentation are impactful? In other words, what parts of the presentation would really convince the audience that they should care?
I would say the presentation was aimed at an audience of adults rather than anyone eles/e It shows entry information and touches on and explains each point with credibility. with also terms being used that pretty much almost everyone would know
Claudia used examples of her family (cousin) being one of the habitual offenders. Which aims to get the audience closer to udnertsanifn how close ht issue can hit home. Also, she explains to three audiences that rehabilitation helps taxpayers and inmates. Rehab also helps by saving taxpayers money to help make areas and communities safer by reducing habitual offenses and offenders
What makes the whole presentation important and direct is how the statistics of people behind bars end up making the same mistakes and offensives within 5 years and the benefits to multiple people. Helping the communities in the area saving people money and helping inmates and the guards. Module Eight Question 2
Identify places in Claudia's script that you think should be accompanied by visuals. For each place you identify, indicate what kind of information you think she should include on the slide. For example, you may think personal images are appropriate in some places, or that graphs or charts representing data may be helpful in others.
I think the images convey the info/statistics that would help and assist a lot more with a better
idea of their importance. Information needs to be inside the chart of prisoners and repeat offenders for both state and federal prisons. Maybe also add some more import/graphs so the discussion that took place shows how money can be saved. Then also including bullet points about benefits and etc.
Module Eight Question 3
Choose the remaining 3-5 places in the script where you will incorporate visuals. Briefly
note where you will include these visuals, and describe what will appear on the slide.
I want to add complete slides and videos talking esports and topics along with the data I
gained from votes about my research topic. I will put this inside when I start talking about the
general background of esports and how issues can come about from gaming. Also along those
lines include more people that I worked with to give me their responses to my questions and be able to fully add them to my script.
Module Eight Question 4
Complete the checklist after practicing your presentation. Identify at least three adjustments that you will make to improve the presentation based on this critical evaluation.
1.
I need to be more in detail about esports and gaming and explain it better without uhhs and staying on topic
I want to get better background from my fellow esports professionals to have a better background for the topic
I also want to note more stuff with graphics and talk about them more Module Eight Question 5
Identify opportunities that you have to speak in public and practice these presentation skills, even if not giving a formal presentation. How will using these tips help you communicate your message?
WHen I was in the army as A NCO I did a lot of training and presented in front of high-grade
officers and NCOs. I think for me I usually sway a lot and say uhh and stuff but I'm usually on point with whats going on and just need to keep my idea train focused
Module Eight Question 6
Consider all you've learned throughout this course. In your opinion, what are two of the
most important concepts or skills you learned that are most relevant to your everyday life?
I think so far this year I learned that mistakes can happen and I can adjust through them, especially with my assignments, That not everything has to be perfect to get a point across and reach out when mistakes are made.
Module Eight Question 7
What did you enjoy most about this course?
I enjoyed this class as it was a refresher on a few courses I took at a different school. The most enjoyable, though, is how the book gave examples of different cultures worldwide and examined them through various social science lenses.
