Module Six Journal

Which communication practice (such as information radiator, Scrum events, and so on) do you think would be most effective in creating openness and transparency within a Scrum Team? Why?
Using information radiators is the best communication technique for fostering openness and transparency in a scrum team. An information radiator is a thorough presentation of important team data that is updated frequently and is freely shared with all team members and other stakeholders. Task board, automated test count, team velocity, incident reports, continuous integration status, work package status, and team progress are just a few examples of the data it contains. This technique encourages teamwork and aids in the visual exhibition of project progress.
What is an example of a communication practice from this course that helped your team complete their work? Consider an example from the SNHU Travel assignments or from the
group discussions.
Our group was able to communicate via email and hold group conversations even though we were unable to hold regular meetings, team meetings, or Zoom conferences. Both operated in a manner akin to a Scrum meeting, enabling our team to talk about our goals going forward and where we want to be in the project. As the team's post-it note organizer, the discussion board helped us order our thoughts and put them on display so that everyone could see and discuss them. It was applied to regular Scums.
What is one way that an agile project-management tool (such as JIRA, Azure Boards, or RTC) can help coordinate and increase efficiency within the team? Be sure to consider a tool and not a Scrum event.
Agile project management tools like Jira Software enable any kind of agile technique, including kanban, scrum, and your own special blend. Using a single application, you can plan, track, and manage all of your agile software development projects, including agile boards, backlogs, roadmaps, reports, integrations, and add-ons. Software teams can handle complicated projects by
fostering a collaborative culture thanks to the scrum methodology. The Jira board is the instrument that facilitates incremental, iterative delivery by bringing teams together around a common objective.
