I.
Intro: My topic is having effective communication in the workplace and data was taken from several employees to get their input on the communication at the North Mississippi Regional Center.

Data Set: Instead of drawing a conclusion data was taken from ten employees that have been employed at the North Mississippi Regional Center for as few as two years, but up to
20 years. Two different sets of data were taken from the staff, and I included myself in the
study. By me joining in the study is called participant observation. III.
“Quality communication in the workplace can eliminate unnecessary problems and promote better performance” (Efectio, 2021). Horrible communication can be detrimental to the workplace. When there is a good line of communication between the managers and the staff it helps with the job performance of all involved. Good communication helps the staff effectively communicate with the managers or directors about issues they may be facing. I participated in the research along with ten other individuals that work alongside me that vary between three different departments, Education, Resident Living and Psychology. Throughout this process I attempted to make sure there was no confusion, and everyone involved had a clear understanding of what I was trying to convey. There were five questions that were asked of the staff regarding communication at the North Mississippi Regional Center. Asking the five questions helped gain a better understanding of the current communication style that staff experience. The questions were asked in an unbiased way to not sway the answers of the people who were given the survey. The way that I came up with the questions was by observing what was going on around me and what I saw which made this empirical.
