This is a brief reflection of my planning process. I will be explaining why I included the elements in my mind map, and I will be evaluating the process of the mind map and explain whether I will utilize this process again for another project in the future.
I wanted to create a document that was clear for my audience. So, I decided on a mind map. I used this approach because I felt that a mind map can give me a better visual of all the different elements, I need to out together the document. Why I included the elements in my mind map.
I added my audience, the approach, the communication goals, and most importantly the major topics and subtopics to go along with because these are all very important pieces to be considered in creating and developing a document and planning a technical writing project. Evaluate whether I feel the process of creating a mind map helped Yes, I very much felt that this process of mind mapping helped me have a better understanding of that planned document I wanted to create. I am a visual learner, so mind maps are very helpful to me.
Mind mapping helps me have a better image if all the elements will fit together to make the document, project or plan or whatever at that time I am working on at that time, but it will allow me to scope and plan accordingly. Would I utilize this process again for a future project?
Yes, I would indeed utilize the process of creating a mind map again to help me create a document or any future project I may overcome. I truly believe that mind maps are helpful in many ways but most importantly to help me gain a better visual and understanding of the project or document I am creating as well as what steps and what I need to complete it with confidence.
