Presentation Choices - 10 points
Once you feel you have written down all of your ideas about the “cause” you selected,
choose one of these formats to present your ideas as an argument.
1. Write a letter to your local newspaper or create a post for a web site where people post
their political opinions. Your letter or post be approximately 300 words.
2. Prepare and record a speech lasting 3 - 5 minutes. (In public speaking, a minute of
talking usually equals about 100-125 words.) You can deliver the speech as an audio or
video file.
3. Create a video that can be shared as a digital file or posted to a hosting web site like You-
Tube, Vimeo, or Facebook. The video should last no longer than three minutes and should
feature relevant images and audio—not just you talking to the camera. (Be sure to cite all
image, video, and audio usage that is not your own at the end of the video.)
