First and Last Name: Krista Scott Date: 01/24/2024 Goal Description: My personal goal is to think of innovative ways to complete my day-to-day tasks. For me, this goal will never be complete. I want to continually innovate to get things the warfighter needs as fast as possible without sacrificing the regulations we must follow. Leadership Competency: Based on the results I received from the LPI assessment; The leadership behavior that I scored the lowest on was Challenge the Process. By continually working on this goal my numbers in the category will come up and stay up and be on average with the other categories and I would feel like a more well-rounded leader. Category Explanation Response S: Specific What do I plan to accomplish? What do I plan to achieve? What is the reason for this goal? Why is it relevant? Example: Ensure a development plan, with specific deliverables, is jointly developed with all of my direct reports. With the hope of not causing delays as new contract actions arise, I want to work with my team and leadership to discuss innovative ways to achieve each of the requirements/milestones we must accomplish. An even bigger goal is that my faster processes will be implemented throughout the command. M: Measurable What metric(s) will be used to determine if you meet the goal? If more than one milestone is included, provide the metric that will be used to measure performance. For me, this goal will never be complete. I want to continually innovate to get things the warfighter needs as fast as possible without sacrificing the regulations we must follow. To feel like I’m improving I want to get to the completion of my contracting actions on time or before every time. A: Achievable What tools and skills do I need to achieve the goal? Who needs to be involved for me to be successful? What is my motivation for wanting to achieve this goal? The biggest tool and or skill I need is my knowledge of our contracting processes. I will be collaborating with my reports as well as my supervisor to get input as I go to see what works well for

My goal can be linked to one of our biggest business objectives which is “Speed to the Fleet.” It will increase my knowledge of our rules and regulations. Additionally, it will improve my performance because I will be able to complete items faster and more efficiently. It will also make me a more well- rounded leader. T: Time Bound Provide tangible deliverable(s) with due dates if more than one milestone is included. Provide the final due date for completion of this development goal. Each quarter I want to have 1 new process implemented that speeds up a process. Throughout my career that deliverable my slow down but at least for the next couple years this is what I hope to achieve.
