Hi Emily! I hope that my comments will help you in writing your draft. It looks like your argument is if the art made by the AI should be considered art if it uses traditional art as ‘’a template’’. Along with all that you stated I would also integrate a short history of AI art. I do not know a lot about it and when I read about it in your paper, I would assume that there are more people like me, and a brief history of AI art would help me to understand this problem better. I know that you mentioned that you made this post shorter than the original document, but I could not find the challenges that you think you could find during writing. Maybe you could just focus on the art restorers and people who work in the gallery. They might have a problem that the AI art was not made by a person and therefore there is no personal value, emotion, or story behind this type of art, and this could be a challenge for you. I would assume that your goal is to persuade people that AI art is ethical and should be used in the future. Again, I do not see it in your post, so I am just assuming. I would get convinced if you would incorporate some interviews or opinions of people that work in this industry. For example, one of your sources says that they use it or will use it in the gaming world. Do the executive directors welcome this? Do they prefer AI art or as you mentioned people’s work simply because there is some value and story behind it? I think that the opinions or views of people that are in this industry would convince me.
