In your opinion, what is the effect and/or meaning of each of the two dances you chose? The first dance that I attended was performed by Take Over tour, Brown Munde, Shinda kahlon, and Ap Dhillon Mumbai. it was one of the best dance experiences I ever experienced before. I sat next to a well-dressed lady dressed to the occasion. She was enjoying the music played by the artists. She knew all the songs that were played something that made me enjoy the dance concert. The lady told me she was used to shinda Kahlo's concert music because she loved his music the most. The dance created its meaning for those who attended it. First, the dance created its meaning through the ways the performers or the artists moved their bodies and feet rhythmically to the music. the other people who attended the dance also danced to the lyrics of the music played. It was very enjoyable and I wished I could be attending such concerts. The dance had so many effects on our bodies because when people were dancing to the lyrics of the music played it helped them to reduce depression and reduced stress. I witnessed this from the lady who had sat next to me she told me she had come for the dance to relieve the stress she was getting from her family and job as well. She was relieved from the depression and her healthy brain was improved. the dance also affected my side because it improved my self- confidence since I am single there was no better way to interact with other people than being able to dance with confidence in the dance hall. The other dance that I attended was performed by Ap Dhillon with a certain girl, the concert went viral because of its effect and meaning to the people who attended it. Ap Dhillon danced with the gal holding each other and dancing rhythmically to the music while the people were cheering at them. I was in shock because I had never attended a Dhillon show dancing with a girl. Everyone danced to the music that was played and it was enjoyable. In my opinion, the dance created its meaning by changing people's moods and their dance attracted people's
attention through the performer's physical body movements. The dance was fueled by emotions because it helped the gentleman who had sat next to me to move from the feeling he was undergoing by sharing it with me. Genuine feelings of how people were feeling reminded them of the previous moments they shared the feeling with themselves. The dance relieved people's stress and depression and improve people's mental health. In what ways does each dance create its effect/meaning? In the first dance by Dhillon, shinda, and the other artists, the artist’s happiness was evident from the stage as they were so happy to receive much appreciation from the crowd. Everyone knew the song’s lyrics that were playing something that made the show lively. when the artists saw much appreciation from the crowd they performed very well which motivated them to give out their best to the crowd. The dance conveyed its meaning to the people, people who came to the dance with heavy hearts from depression and stress were relieved. The artists communicated their messages through facial expressions, eye contact, and body movements. Their physical movements were following the lyrics. This created much appreciation from the crowd. the dance created a meaning/ effect for the crowd as it allowed the crowd to express their emotions and increased their awareness and others by having creative movement which increased their emotional maturity. The dance by Dhillon and the girl had more effect on the crowd's creativity because the dance from Dhillon and the girl created a unique connection in the crowd's brain in looking at the situation from a certain perspective and coming up with other solutions. The artist's dance creativity was on another level because the movements were not that easy to master which allowed the crowd to have new space for more emotions. The dance boosted people's physical
and mental health by helping them how to improve flexibility and posture and lifting the crowd's mood and anxiety. It also built social bonds through interaction during the concert. What similarities and/or differences are there between the effects created by the two dances and how each used space, compositional tools, movement/body, and production elements to create their effects? The two dances created similar effects on the crowd. They both had benefits to the crowd mentally. The physical movements that were employed during the two concerts helped the people to reduce anxiety and depression and reduce levels of stress. Both dances relieved people from stress and tension that created happiness and feelings of pressure. The rhythm and expression of the two dances had the same tempo of the music that was playing something that made people enjoy the dance that created the meaning of the dance. Both dances used space to give good coordination of the music played which made the dance look interesting. The performers used the space to explain their steps. The dances also used body movements to match the lyrics to create their effect. Both dances utilized time very well to create the effect of the dance because in every dance concert dancers cannot move if they fail to move with the time. Both dancers were well-energized during the performance to show their strong and sharp movements.
