Module Two Question 1 Describe one of the beliefs and values of the Navajo as illustrated in your readings. Some of the beliefs and values that Navajo illustrated were the same as those of a democracy. Their government followed those of ours as well, only they did not have a constitution. They relished in saying that Americans stole their land. Module Two Question 2 Describe one way in which the Navajo have incorporated their beliefs and values into the societal structure on the reservation since regaining some autonomy in the 1970's. They have kept their own government and have their own cultural aspects kept to themselves in their tribes. Module Two Question 3 What beliefs and values can be found in your culture? How do these beliefs and values influence your day-to-day life? Beliefs in my culture can be found in the food and the way people talk to eachother. These influence my life by inspiring me to either be a better person from the way others are treated or to share my cultural food with other cultures and relate to them as most of these foods can be quite similar with very few distinctions of differences. Module Two Question 4 Adopt the social science perspective to create a list of questions about this issue. Write at least two questions each from the point of view of a psychologist, a sociologist, and an anthropologist. 1. Why was there a belief that the vaccine would cause immunity? 2. And how did the ideation of it curing or causing immunity become a huge deal to people? 3. what were the ways people were treated differently based on vaccination status? 4. And how did that affect work and everyday lives?
5. How did cultures affect whether people chose to be vaccinated or not? 6. Did their culture deny the right to do so? or was it becasue of their own beliefs that the vaccine was wrong or incapable of doing what it was meant to do?
